This past weekend was the third event in the inaugural season of the Gulf States Premier League. The season to this point has been very successful overall. Teams first met in Baton Rouge on august nineteenth through the twenty-first for the opening games of the league. Eighty plus games were played with nearly all participating clubs in attendance.
More recently nine of the eleven clubs met in Jackson, Mississippi to play the second set of games scheduled for the fall; with the two others meeting in Louisiana. On the weekend of October first and second clubs were matched up in different locations all over the region in the last scheduled weekend of the fall season. Games were played in Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi in many different venues.
